The National Association of State Treasurers’ (NAST) Foundation
NAST promotes and enhances the educational initiatives that enable members to pursue and administer sound financial policies and programs that benefit the nation’s citizens. NAST Foundation programs enhance public officials’ understanding of the public financial arena and provide public education on personal financial management. The Illinois Financial Wellness Hub would not be possible without the help of our partners, Central Management Services (CMS) and the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) Center for Economic Education.
Central Management Services (CMS) is the primary health care and insurance administrator for State universities, community colleges, teachers, State employees, and retirees. CMS administers a wide range of programs, including the State of Illinois Deferred Compensation Plan.
The UIC Center for Economic Education is a research center dedicated to providing financial literacy and education. The Center offers teachers, school districts, and community organizations curriculum resources and training to teach fundamental economic concepts and skills.
